Sweden...I am still here...

So I think the novelty has definately worn off. I still love it, and I still am glad to be here, but I am kind of starting to be just like "yeah whatever...I've seen that now, I just want to sit on a couch and be lazy with my roomates." Too bad I DON'T HAVE any roomates! lol, next year...
David is coming in 11 days, I am so excited for that! We are going to Oslo and Bergen, which will be a great trip. I get to see Fjords!
Alison, Beth and I are trying to plan a trip to Rome, we will see how that goes. I also really want to get to Copenhagen and Germany. Maybe even Austria? Oh if only I had loads of money! That would be sweet.
Aimee is coming on April 13th too so that will be SWEET! I lava her so soo much! (Swedes do NOT have any lava...I dont think they know what it is. They know that they like to be neutral in as many things as possible, and I think this extends to their lava philosophy. No lava for people...just indifference.)

Sweden

Thoughts on Stockholm:

  • I love the architecture in the old areas of the city

  • I miss not having my own computer to sit at for hours on end

  • I like Germans

  • I don't really like the Spanish guys who live in my hall. They're kind of loud and creepy. Plus they set a fire in our common room.

  • Having a digital camera is sweet.

  • Its a good thing pasta is so cheap because its also very tasty. Poor students staying in foreign countries should always eat a lot of pasta.

  • I miss Hannah.

  • I also miss Kari, Dan, Justin, Kelly, Steph, Jordan, Billiam, Rae, Amiee-Dog, Woody, having a car, and my pillow.

  • Swedish pastries may look delicous, but they are actually disgusting. I ate this chocolate thing and I think it had rum in it. SICK. Rum and choc. do not go together. (Now coffee and choc. is a different story. Why couldnt they have put coffee in it?)

  • Swedish chocolates are delicious as long as it is not in pastery form.

  • Swedish cheese is much better than American cheese. It is soo good. We have cheese parties where we sit around and eat it because it is so good. Everything else here seems to be rather bland.

  • If you are planning on getting lost, be sure to wear shoes that have lots of shock support otherwise you might end up with shin splints.

  • I bought a litte purple plant and I named it Celery. I tried to name it Alice but then I remembered my plant back home named Alice so I had to give it a new name. I tried naming it all sorts of things but for some reason it just ended up being Celery. (you know, like the vegetable. If you eat celery you're actually consuming negative calories.)

  • I like to make blogs in list-form. It seems to fit my scatterbrained thoughts.

Kallie Rae-signing off.
